Discovery Island |
The people of the contemporary world have a lot of work vested upon their shoulders. It is but natural that they be offered proportionate rest otherwise man’s ever broad shoulders could end up transformed into ever drooping shoulders.

There are various places of interest in Discovery Island like the magnificent Tree of Life that stands tall to a towering height of 14 stories.

The pathway in the Discovery Island allows tourists to walk the boulevards, gaze at the flora and also admire the birds present at Discovery Island.There are also several fauna like the Cotton-top tamarins, Galapagos Tortoises and Saddle-billed storks. The Trail of Discovery Island can also be accessed by means of a wheelchair.

There is also an entertaining couple of a storyteller and a changeling. While the storyteller recites stories about the inhabitants of Discovery Island, the changeling ‘transforms’ into the animal about which the storyteller recites.
The discovery island has excellent dining areas serving lunch, dinner and explicit breakfast. The Flame tree barbecue and the Pizzafari serve delicious food. The dining rooms are distinctly themed with hanging bats, parrots, bright murals and possums at the Pizzafari.
The breakfast menu is superb with breakfast pizza, fruit plates, waffles and sausage. Lunch and dinner is great as visitors can treat themselves with a feast on pizza, salads and hot sandwiches.
The flame tree Barbecue has a great kitchen offering ribs, smoked chicken, fresh salads, beef and the best children’s meals. |

The bazaar in the discovery island is identical to the architecture in Bali. Their shopping areas are magnificent and the guests will find clothes, toys, candy, collectibles as well as animal kingdom merchandise based on the themes. ‘Disney Outfitters’ have an assortment of exotic jewelry, watch artisans, collectible gifts, tapestries, camera accessories and ring carvers.
The ‘Beastly Bazaar’ bestows with lovely T-shirts, mugs, hats, and home decorating items based on Animal Kingdom. ‘Creature Comforts’ is a store loved by children as they get helmets, toys, gifts and children clothing.
Visitors entering the animal kingdom will never realize the time flying off their hands. From dawn to dusk, there are many things to keep themselves occupied and can refresh details regarding animals. This place is ideal for a family, and children can be introduced to many new animals. |
