Future World |
The future world is situated towards the northern section of Epcot and is the foremost area that the guests would see at the entrance of the park. Its icon is a giant golf ball.
The main objective in the future world is on scientific accomplishments, discovery and tomorrows skill in various fields’ right from energy to study of undersea.
In fact, Epcot is an ellipsis for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and Walt Disney dreamt of a planned city. After the demise of Walt Disney, it acquired a form of theme park.
The aim of Epcot was to inform, inspire and entertain. However, encouraging the belief and conceit to transform the world to achieve success is its aim.
Epcot covers a wide range of 300 acres. The area between Future World and World Showcase is a lovely place with roses on the way. |

Epcot is a wide area and the World Showcase held there makes people exhausted. But, this depends on the time you take viewing each country attractions in the World Showcase.
The parking area of Epcot is adjacent to the gate. The parking areas are named after themes and the passageways are numbered.

There are trams to transport you to and from the main outer area. There is a facility of one service for each resort for visitors residing at Epcot area resorts. This water transport conveniently transports you to the International gateway.
If you feel you can walk through, then you can proceed to the gateway by foot. Allow the kids at various World Showcase countries to chat with other countries people.
You can also ask your children to do crafts or get autographs. Future World works between 9am to 7pm and is open till midnight during summer. The ticket charges are $56 for children, $67 for adults and free for kids younger than 3.
There are various facilities in Epcot such as ATMs, Baby care that is well facilitated with disposable diapers, baby food and rocking chairs, First Aid, Cameras and film, Lockers, package pickup, parking, rental wheel chair, pet care, strollers and lost children are taken care by registering their name in the logbooks. |
