Disneyland was setup with Lucas, special effects, simulators and manually coordinated the movement with the movement of the film. Finally, the ride was opened to a horde of sponsors and the characters for the Star wars were jubilant.
Star Tours is an actual ride that employs flight simulator equipment associated with action film. The space music is played on the background. This is a wild ride for four and a half minute running into one disaster after another. |

There is a switch off option that allows visitors to select that option. Star Tours involves the visitors in a space tourist route to the forest moon. The inside area is filled with animatronics characters. Star Tours is a film projected on the screen.
It is a ride sited in various Disney theme parks such as Disneyland in California, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland in Pairs and Disney’s Hollywood studio in Florida.
Star Tours is totally based on the Movie Star Wars. With the success of this movie, the ride was designed to that theme. This became the first attractions of the park that did not employ any designed imagery of Disney.
This ride was planned to be an interactive ride, but the company came to a conclusion in having it as a 3D musical film. This subject was taken to George Lucas, the producer of Star Wars and the idea of having a Star Tours amusement ride came to form with the acceptance of Lucas. |
|
This instigated the imaginers of Disney to purchase flight simulators, and Lucas came with an idea of special effects with light and magic to be fit inside the simulators. Eventually, synchronizing the simulators movements as well as the film, the ride was opened to visitors and had a great demand for tickets.
